New Image Editor, faster personalization, V7 is not yet ready

Here is the summary of the latest Midjourney Office Hours:
A new Image Editor will be available soon, allowing you to edit your photos created outside Midjourney. An effective moderating system is now in place. However, David is unsure how to restrict users' access to the new Image Editor, such as limiting it to people who have already generated 10,000 images.
Midjourney is working to make the user personalization process faster. They aim to find a way for people to set up their personalization rapidly. It is a challenging task because Midjourney is now the only system in the world offering any kind of personalization.
There are more people using personalization right now, but the vast majority do not. The developers aim to improve adoption by making it easy to use.
Video and 3D models are currently being trained. It is unknown how to integrate them into the user's creative workflow or whether these functions should be combined into one.
Midjourney V7 is not likely to be released any time soon because they are still training the model and fixing bugs. It is still not at the final stage of training. It is an enormous task for the developers because they attempted to change multiple things at once, making the update complicated.
When V7 is released, we can expect:
Better prompt understanding and comprehension of multilingual (according to David, this has already been completed).
Prompting will be different from V6.1 since it can handle both complicated and simple prompts.
Weird and Chaos parameters may disappear. However, they may also bring them back. To be decided.
Sref may get better in V7.
Multiple consistent characters (Cref) feature could be available as it is a top priority.
The transparent background feature is still a long way off, perhaps between V7 and V9.
The Storytelling team has already created a version that most people can use.
The /describe in Discord is currently better than the web. It is not yet a priority to improve it.
