New personalization and demographic features will be released within the next week or two.
Following that, the Batch 8 feature that enables users to train on the images will be released. Batch 8 is the theoretical final release for the Midjourney V6 versions.
There is currently a race between the Video feature and the Midjourney V7 model. The video feature, hopefully with better video quality, could be ready before V7. The video can be applied to older versions, but it may not be as effective.
The 3D model feature is currently behind the video and V7 progresses.
The demographic and psychometric study results will be released (the exact date was not specified).
New information revealed about Midjourney V7:
One of V7's goals is to improve its text. However, there is currently a text issue, which the developers are working to resolve.
The V7 will have improved Sref and Cref. However, these features will not be ready at launch. They will be developed and released once V7 has become the default version.
It will have a new Sref system and codes.
It will support Sref random.
Other Things
There will be a Mood Board feature where users can upload all of the images they created with Sref or other tools to train the model.
Midjourney Desktop app has been considered because it is easier to develop, and users prefer it over the website in the browser.
The mobile app is being reevaluated because it may not be able to support the video feature.
